Environmental Psychological Advisory · London · By Introduction
A private psychological advisory practice for those operating under sustained responsibility — conducted in motion, in the open air, in the heart of London. No clinic. No waiting room. No time lost.
The Method
Conventional therapeutic arrangements ask you to travel, to sit in a waiting room, to reorganise time that is not spare. This practice removes every one of those conditions — meeting you where you are, in an environment that suits the work.
We meet at a location that works for your day — a quiet hotel sitting room in Mayfair, a private room in the City, or wherever your morning places you. The arrangement fits around your schedule, not the other way around.
When a client prefers the open air, sessions move to a garden square or a park. Walking reduces the intensity of direct confrontation. The ambient environment becomes part of the process — non-directive, clarifying, unhurried.
There is no prescribed agenda. You bring whatever is present — a decision under pressure, a pattern you cannot quite name, a question you have not had space to examine. That is always the right place to begin.
Areas of Work
The concerns that arrive in this work rarely respect neat categories. They are addressed with the same seriousness with which they are carried.
When accumulated responsibility begins to distort judgement. When the quality of thinking matters most and something in the system is interfering with it.
Exit, succession, the question of what comes after a career defined by purpose. What the next chapter requires — and who you are within it.
The structural loneliness of senior positions. The things that cannot be said to those who report to you, and the cost of carrying them without a proper space.
The impact of significant wealth on family relationships. Conversations with heirs that have not begun. What the accumulation was actually for, and what you want it to become.
Prolonged high-performance environments exact a cost that is not always visible. Before the point of crisis — and sometimes after it — clarity can be restored through careful, contained work.
The existential terrain that arrives when external success does not resolve internal questions. Not pathology — a genuinely human encounter with what the work has been for.
The Approach
This is not coaching, and it is not executive consulting. It draws on a rigorous existential and integrative framework — a discipline that takes seriously the full complexity of a human life, without reducing it to symptoms or targets. The aim is clarity. The environment is complete confidence.
Absolute Discretion
No reception desk. No waiting room shared with others. No records associated with your name in a clinical system. The relationship exists between two people and remains there entirely.
Existential & Integrative
The approach is rooted in existential psychotherapy — a tradition concerned with meaning, freedom, responsibility, and the conditions of a well-examined life — integrated with clinical precision where the work requires it.
Environmental Method
The open air is not incidental. Movement, landscape, and the absence of clinical formality create conditions in which different things become thinkable. The environment is part of the therapeutic frame.
No Dependency
The measure of this work is the clarity you carry away from it — not the frequency of our meetings. The aim is for you to need this less over time, not more.

A cold approach is never necessary. Those who benefit most from this work tend to arrive through the people who already understand what they carry. A brief note of introduction from a trusted professional is always sufficient.
Advisers at Coutts, Barclays Private, JP Morgan Private Bank, and family offices whose relationship with clients extends to the full context of a life, not only its financial dimension.
Senior partners at leading commercial and private client law firms who encounter the human dimension of significant transitions — succession, exit, divorce, inheritance — alongside the technical one.
Partners at Egon Zehnder, Spencer Stuart, and equivalent firms working closely with leaders navigating succession, mandate change, and the question of what comes after.
